Please note: For this walk, per Gettysburg Borough’s requirements, if participating with a group please always maintain a 5-foot passageway around your group to allow other people to get around your group.

  1. Park in the parking area behind Mr. G’s Ice Cream Shop. Cross the street in the crosswalk and turn left onto the walking path, following Lefever Street.
  2. You will pass Lincoln Elementary School on your left and Gettysburg Middle School on your right.
  3. Follow the path until you reach the intersection at Lefever Street and East Middle Street.
  4. Turn left onto East Middle Street and continue straight on the sidewalk until you reach a stop sign.
  5. At the stop sign, keep going straight until you reach the stoplight at the intersection of East Middle Street and Baltimore Street. Turn left on the sidewalk, following Baltimore Street until you come to Adams County Library, which will be on your left.
  6. Turn left at the corner of the Library at High Street by the stoplight. The post will be by a tree near the table and chairs beside the library.
  7. Turn right to go back to the stoplight and turn left at the crosswalk following Baltimore Street. Follow Baltimore Street to Mr. G’s Ice Cream Shop. Turn left at Mr. G’s and return to the parking area.
