    Brochures for the Wayside Markers located along the trail can be found in the yellow box at the Daniel Lady Farm History Museum Building (Scout Office). Enjoy reading these historical markers while learning the significance of various locations on the farm.

    Clues for Your Hike

    1. Park in the grass on the left inside the entrance, in front of the soldier statues and across from the barn.
    2. Head toward the Daniel Lady Farm History Museum building (Scout Office), keeping the building to your left.
    3. Follow the gravel path and turn right into the grass to follow the path in front of the stone farmhouse.
    4. Continue walking in the grass, keeping the pond to your right and the fence to your left.
    5. At the end of the fence, turn left and continue walking straight in the grass.
    6. You will turn right onto a gravel path. Wayside Marker #8 “Ewell: A Compound of Anomalies” will be on the right.
    7. At the end of the gravel path, turn right in the grass and go straight, walking the perimeter of the field.
    8. At the end of the field and before the woods, turn left and continue walking the perimeter of the field.
    9. After rounding the bend, you will soon turn right at the grass/dirt path heading into the woods.
    10. You will follow the path as it winds around the woods for about 0.50 miles; stay on the path.
    11. At the fork in the path, keep left.
    12. After exiting the woods, follow the grass to the gravel trail.
    13. Immediately turn right at the Cavalry Camp sign, following the perimeter of the field.
    14. You will eventually see a gravel trail. Follow the gravel trail to the right.
    15. Keep right at the fork in the path, and follow it past the white fences. Turn left and continue on the path.
    16. At the next two forks along the path, keep to the right.
    17. The post will be located on a tree to the left of the path shortly after passing the second fork along the path.
    18. Continue on the path, and at the final fork along the path, keep left and head back to the parking area.
